Your Job:
As Brooks evolves its direct-to-consumer business, our digital platform must become faster, more
reliable, and easier to build on. This role exists to shift foundation and platform work from reactive
delivery to intentional product ownership — enabling teams to move faster, make better decisions, and
deliver meaningful value to runner.

As a Senior Digital Product Manager, Foundation & Platform, you will link runner needs, business
strategy, and product and engineering efforts by treating Brooks’ digital foundation and platforms as
products. Grounded in runner needs, business priorities, and technical realities, you will partner with
business and technical leaders to create a streamlined, performant, and scalable platform that enables
teams to build, deploy, and operate solutions efficiently.

You will be an effective communicator of objectives and priorities in a persuasive manner that builds
support, consensus, and commitment across cross-functional teams to execute our product, platform,
and business strategies. You will bridge the gap between technical and business engagement and serve
as an advocate of the enterprise to advise our platform providers and delivery teams to bring solutions
and enhancements that solve customer problems and deliver value to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive outcomes for Brooks’ digital foundation and platform capabilities, leading cross-functional
teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that reduce friction and increase delivery
    velocity.
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Digital Product Management to define and evolve a product roadmap
for foundation and platform capabilities, prioritizing work based on measurable outcomes such as
speed to market, reliability, cost efficiency, and adoption.
  • Act as a primary product leader and advocate for Brooks’ digital foundation and platform
capabilities, setting priorities and shaping outcomes by treating platform as a product with clear,
measurable OKRs and KPIs that support runner‑ and customer‑facing experiences
  • Ensure Brooks’ platform is positioned to support emerging capabilities — including agent‑driven
experiences, AI‑enabled services, and evolving search and discovery models — as these become
integral to how runners find, engage with, and interact with Brooks.
  • Lead discovery and problem definition for foundation and platform capabilities before committing to
    delivery.
  • Make clear, data-informed prioritization and tradeoff decisions across competing business and
technical demands, balancing short-term needs with long-term platform health.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to execute the roadmap and reduce timeto-market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication with business leaders and partners
across the enterprise to advocate on their behalf.
  • Apply modern product management practices to identify customer needs, assess technical
capabilities, close product gaps, and accelerate delivery and adoption.
  • Use data-driven insights to evaluate platform performance and inform ongoing improvements.
  • Contribute to and help optimize the Digital Product Management planning and prioritization process
based on a holistic understanding of customer, business, and technology needs.
  • Define and track success metrics for platform products, such as developer experience, deployment
speed, reliability, cost efficiency, and adoption by product teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of
education/experience in product management or related experience at a technology and data-driven
    company.
  • 7+ years in digital product development with at least 5+ years in a product management role.
  • Experience delivering complex digital products in a direct-to-consumer, eCommerce, or platformheavy environment.
  • Experience owning a product lifecycle end-to-end — from problem definition and outcome setting
    through delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Demonstrated success in managing platform products and software foundations.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to influence product design and investment decisions
    without owning architecture or implementation.
  • Experience engaging senior leaders to define strategy and set priorities for global services.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering global collaboration to meet diverse customer and business
    needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering results and building new processes and scaling platform technologies and
    organizations.
  • Experience with highly complex B2B/C products or experience in roles requiring data-driven decision
    making and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
abilities across functional teams, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Experience influencing and prioritizing platform technical roadmaps and maintaining professionalism
    dealing with external vendors

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
