The Opportunity:

LucidLink is hiring a Senior Director of FP&A to lead financial planning on our journey to $100M in ARR.

In short, the mission of this role is to ensure the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan are executed with precision while scaling LucidLink's financial systems to support a global, high-growth SaaS organization.

Key outcomes for success:
  • Improve Finance team efficiency through the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows

  • Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long-Range Plan (LRP), and rolling forecasts across all departments.

  • Lead the budgeting process, ensuring the creation of a high-quality budget that aligns with business goals

  • Improve the accuracy and reliability of financial forecasts

  • Develop and refine all the financial models while providing actionable insights

  • Streamline financial operations and processes, reducing manual efforts and increasing overall efficiency within the finance function

  • Help to build out the Quote-to-Cash system(s) implementation

  • Drive capacity planning, go-to-market analysis and budget planning for LucidLink's GTM organization

  • Partner with FinOps to support cloud cost optimization initiatives company-wide

Required competencies:
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling, with the ability to create and manage complex financial processes effectively.

  • Business Acumen: Capacity to align financial strategies with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring that budgeting and forecasting processes support overall business objectives.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong command of financial systems and tools, (NetSuite, FloQast, SFDC, etc) with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize these systems.

    • Highly skilled in Excel (Pivots Tables, VLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas, Copilot, etc) with the ability to create, manage, and analyze complex financial models.

  • Initiative and Self-Reliance: Demonstrates a strong ability to independently manage and execute the budgeting process, taking full ownership of financial planning tasks without relying on a team.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working collaboratively with various departments to gather input and insights, ensuring that the budgeting process is informed by a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s needs and goals.
