We are seeking a strategic and influential Senior Director - HR Business Partner to support a senior executive leading Vanguard’s Enterprise AI and Engineering Platforms organization. In this highly visible role, you will shape talent strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and guide organizational evolution across the teams responsible for advancing Vanguard's AI agenda, enterprise data architecture, and engineering platforms. You will help build the workforce and leadership capabilities needed to accelerate innovation, engineering excellence, and enterprise transformation. 

What You’ll Do 
 

  • Partner with the technology executive to define and execute multiyear talent strategies supporting enterprise AI, engineering platforms, and scaled technology capabilities. 

  • Partner with leaders driving Vanguard's AI strategy, enterprise data capabilities, and engineering platforms to ensure the organization has the talent, leadership, and operating models required for long term success. 

  • Provide executive-level coaching and shape workforce strategies that advance engineering excellence, strengthen technical leadership, and build critical AI, data, and platform capabilities. 

  • Lead organizational design efforts that align structure, capabilities, and decision-making with Vanguard's enterprise AI strategy, data architecture, and platform transformation priorities. 

  • Use datadriven insights to shape workforce decisions, address risk, and enhance organizational health. 

  • Drive the delivery of core HR processes and partner closely with HR centers of excellence to ensure an integrated, seamless experience. 

  • Support cultural evolution and change management initiatives across rapidly transforming technology teams. 
     

What We’re Looking For 
 

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with demonstrated success supporting senior executives in large, complex organizations. 

  • Experience partnering with technology or engineering leaders preferred. 

  • Expertise in organizational design, succession planning, workforce strategy, and executive coaching. 

  • Ability to influence senior leaders, operate in highambiguity environments, and navigate largescale transformation. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
