We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our dynamic Integrated Business Technologies Infrastructure Operations team. In this role, you will focus on workload automation utilizing BMC Helix Control-M SaaS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new technologies to support the technical capabilities at Cox Enterprises. Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects.

Required Qualifications:
USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. What You'll Do:
- Shape the Future of Workload Automation: Design, implement, and support Control-M environments that support multiple applications. Perform business analysis to gather functional requirements for software applications under development for automation. Design, review, analyze, and test new or existing workload automation to increase productivity and optimize job scheduling while minimizing job executions.
- Partner for success while empowering the workforce: Educate support and project teams on the workload automation scheduling process and scope. Empower our boundary partners to adapt to the self-service mindset. Lead technical discussions to determine new application developments and/or changes within the current application infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues with existing or developed systems and work with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
- Lead Innovation: Maintain the Control-M environment by ensuring it is highly functioning, stable, and kept current. Install new software versions and patches ensuring correct system configuration and operation. Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and documentation. Stay updated on Control-M features and functionalities and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) and 4 years of related experience
- The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field in lieu of degree
- Hands-On Experience administering BMC Helix Control-M Workload Automation Enterprise Suite, including Configuration, Job Scheduling, and Environment Maintenance - Enterprise Manager, Servers, Agents, Control Modules, Managed and/or Advanced File Transfer, Business Impact Manager, Application Integrator, and Automation API
- Documented experience performing Control-M migrations or upgrades in enterprise environments
- Experience administering and performing automation tasks on both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience in analyzing existing systems and making recommendations on which technology best suits the business requirement for high availability, Disaster Recovery, or high performance
- Experience participating in or leading technical discussions with cross-functional project teams or business stakeholders
- Virtualization Experience using VMware, ESXi, or similar technologies
- Experience with Python, VBA, and PowerShell or other Windows, Unix, or Linux Shell Scripting languages
- Experience with Cloud Service Providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.)
- Must be able to work Eastern Time(ET) business hours, Monday through Friday.
