About the Opportunity  

Location: This position is fully remote with travel needed to support key events.

Term: This role is a contract term with coverage spanning an approximate 6-month period

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Events Manager (Contract) to support Machinify's event marketing execution during a leadership transition. This contract role will manage event operations and reporting across industry conferences, customer events, webinars, and our annual customer summit while the Director of Event Marketing is on leave.

This is a hands-on role responsible for bringing established event strategies to life. You'll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing to ensure seamless event delivery and measurable results.

What you’ll do  

  • Execute industry conference participation, including booth logistics, attendee outreach, lead capture setup, and on-site coordination, and post-event reporting
  • Manage end-to-end webinar production, from speaker coordination and slide preparation to platform setup and post-event follow-up
  • Coordinate logistics for customer events, including venue selection, catering, materials, and attendee communications
  • Own the operational execution of the annual customer summit, working from established plans and timelines and owning budget management, overall logistics and run of show, creating prep documents, managing deliverable timelines and owners, creating a detailed staff overview and assigning onsite roles and responsibilities, and owning final event registration list and demand generation efforts.
  • Manage event calendars, registration workflows, and pre/post-event communications
  • Track event budgets and process vendor invoices and contracts
  • Coordinate lead capture processes and ensure timely data transfer to CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Build and send event communications, including invitations, reminders, and thank-you emails
  • Maintain vendor relationships and serve as day-to-day contact for production partners, venues, and sponsorship organizers
  • Report to senior and executive leadership on event performance metrics, including registration, attendance, lead volume, and survey results
  • Support Sales and Customer Success teams with event materials, booth schedules, and attendee lists

What experience you bring 

  • Experience
    • 5-7 years of experience in event marketing, event management, or event operations roles
    • Proven track record executing B2B events, including conferences, webinars, and customer events
    • Experience managing event budgets and vendor relationships
    • B2B SaaS and/or healthcare experience preferred
  • Skills & Capabilities
    • Highly organized with exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with event platforms (Nunify), CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce), and marketing automation tools
    • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
    • Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable with occasional travel to support key events
