You thrive in fast-paced settings, anticipate needs before they arise, and bring a “how can I help?” attitude. You’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and know how to manage shifting priorities with poise. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive information are essential.

What you’ll be working on

  • Calendar & Task Management: Own the CFO’s calendar and key priorities, ensuring alignment with financial reporting and planning cycles.
  • Communication & Materials: Prepare and manage financial communications, meeting invites, and presentation materials with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Plan and execute finance team meetings, offsites, and all-hands sessions. Own agendas, notes, follow-ups, and presentation development.
  • Project Support: Lead or support special projects as assigned by the CFO, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Administrative Excellence: Handle expense reporting, sensitive correspondence, and documentation of financial discussions.
  • Relationship Building: Serve as a key liaison across internal teams and with external partners to ensure smooth, timely collaboration.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives; 3+ years in a tech environment preferred, ideally in the finance department
  • Strong interest in finance and a desire to deepen your understanding of financial processes and terminology
  • Advanced proficiency in calendar management and presentation tools (e.g. Google Workspace); ability to manage complex schedules and logistics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—clear, concise, and professional
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and business information
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
  • Strong preference for candidates based in or aligned with the Pacific Time Zone (PST)

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
