In This Role

In this role, you will be a strategic research partner who helps shape end‑to‑end customer and partner experiences. You will work within a fast‑paced, iterative environment, collaborating across disciplines to define research goals, uncover opportunity areas, and guide design direction. You will help articulate a clear, customer‑centered vision by transforming complex insights into actionable strategies that influence product, experience, and business outcomes at scale.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Define research scope, study objectives, and success criteria aligned to business needs.
  • Identify research gaps and recommend the most appropriate methods based on business goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct a wide range of research methods (interviews, surveys, qualitative + quantitative studies, foundational research, evaluative research, etc.).
  • Design, plan, and facilitate remote sessions, such as interviews, workshops, field studies, and global research initiatives.
  • Create core research and CX deliverables, including discussion guides, personas, customer journey maps, and service blueprints.
  • Use data, insights, and measurements to prioritize feature requirements and experience frameworks.
  • Communicate complex concepts in a clear, compelling way to drive alignment on future‑state experience direction.
  • Build strong partnerships across teams to champion an outside‑in, customer‑centric experience strategy.
  • Support foundational research programs and collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical “moments of truth” in the customer lifecycle.
  • Present research‑informed recommendations beyond the design space to influence broader business decisions.
  • Review and validate work with peers, stakeholders, and customers to ensure clarity, quality, and alignment.
  • Communicate solutions and insights at varying levels of detail depending on audience needs.
  • Demonstrate expertise in customer experience design and design thinking practices.

 

 Required Qualifications

Education + Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (HCI, Human Factors, Computer Science, Information Science, Social Sciences, Psychology, UX Design, etc.) AND 5+ years of UX research experience
    OR
  • Master’s degree in a related field AND 3+ years of UX research experience
    OR
  • Equivalent practical experience in UX research

 

 Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working in technology‑focused domains.
  • 3+ years experience driving research that informs both product strategy and detailed design.
  • Design Thinking certification from a recognized institution (IDEO, IBM, Stanford, Forrester, university programs, etc.).
  • 2+ years experience with digital ecosystems such as omni‑channel solutions, self‑service experiences, or conversational/AI systems.
  • 2+ years experience conducting 1:1 user interviews.
  • 1+ year experience working with enterprise (B2B) customers.

Salary Range 

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $90,000 per annum. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
