As a strategic and data-driven Financial Analyst with experience in a SaaS environment, you’ll partner closely with leadership to drive high-impact decisions. In this role you will own financial modeling, forecasting and SaaS metric analysis, helping shape the future of Cardata through meaningful insights.
You have a strong understanding of SaaS business models, the ability to distill complex data into clear recommendations, and a mindset geared toward growth and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver high quality reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, board and bank reporting
- Manage and maintain the cash model, budget, and financial forecasts to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
- Own ARR reporting and conduct budget vs. actual (BvA) analysis, providing insights to educate stakeholders, track financial performance and drive performance improvements
SaaS Metrics & Business Intelligence
- Evaluate the financial impact of partnerships and expansion opportunities through financial modeling and scenario planning
- Collaborate with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for growth strategies and investment decisions
Strategic Financial Planning
- Evaluate the financial impact of partnerships and expansion opportunities through financial modeling and scenario planning
- Leverage BI tools to provide insights into customer behaviours, revenue trends, and cost efficiencies
- Collaborate with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for growth strategies and investment decisions
What You’ll Bring
- 4-7 years in financial analysis, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models and drive forecasting accuracy
- Proven experience partnering with leaders across different departments such as Sales & Marketing and Product & Engineering.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and SaaS metric calculations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools and reporting systems
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Confident presenting to stakeholders at all levels including executive
- A growth mindset—you enjoy solving problems, learning new tools, and improving processes
