You will compile, analyze, and report financial data, play a crucial role in implementing new accounting standards, and engage with external auditors to support annual audits and quarterly reviews. Ensuring compliance with policies, processes, and requirements as we collaborate cross-functionally with various process owners in Finance and other functional areas withing Micron.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead the drafting and preparation of SEC financial filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy Statement, and other related filings.
  • Oversee the accounting for stock-based compensation, including stock options, RSUs, PRSUs (Performance Restricted Stock Units), ESPPs (Employee Stock Purchase Plan), and other share-based arrangements.
  • Lead teams to collect SOX compliance data, prepare reports for SEC filings and earnings releases.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, FP&A, and business leaders, to prepare footnote disclosures.
  • Prepare cash flow statements and journal entries for corporate accounting activities such as equity, portfolio investments, and annual goodwill assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with XBRL tagging and regulatory reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • 5+ years of related work experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting, and high-tech experience in a multinational company.
  • Hands-on experience with filings of 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, and other SEC filings associated with financial reporting.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Strong dedication to meeting timelines in an evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP, Workiva, and equity accounting systems is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
  • Experience in researching complex accounting issues and detailing accounting positions in technical memos.
  • Solution oriented for complex challenges: Analytical skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of collaborating, and influencing collaborators.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$90,000.00 - $205,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
