  • Deep-dive analyses: investigate user behavior, identify friction points, segment customers, and size opportunities that inform roadmap and prioritization.
  • Design and run experiments to validate new features, pricing changes, and growth strategies; quantify impact, lift, and trade-offs.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, design and marketing to translate data insights into product requirements and go-to-market strategies.
  • Standardize metrics & definitions across teams to ensure consistent understanding of product health and growth levers.
  • Define data requirements & instrumentation strategies for new features, collaborate on event schemas, and validate new data pipelines.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics or data analysis roles.
  • Expert in SQL and proficient in tools like Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with fraud detection strategies, risk scoring, and related metrics.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or similar.
  • Clear communicator with a knack for simplifying complex data insights for business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.).
  • 5+ years in product analytics or data analysis roles.
  • Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python or R for advanced analysis and modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms and product-led growth metrics (e.g., funnels, cohorts, retention curves, LTV).
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
