The Senior Front End Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications using React and Vue.js, collaborating with developers, ensuring UI design standards, and integrating with APIs. Requires 7+ years of experience, proficiency in key technologies, and Agile practices.

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior Javascript developer w/ React and Vue.js experience to work for a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the telecommunications business (cable TV, internet, cell phones).
Job location: Brazil. Work REMOTE from anywhere in the country.

Summary:
- The individual should be experienced & independent in the frontend space.
- Tech stack is React/Vue front end, and Node backend for our web apps; we use environment tools such as Docker, Jenkins CI/CD, Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, and maintain applications using React and Vue.js.
- We’re building stateless apps, generally integrating with APIs built and maintained by our partners in OSS middleware.
- Our application portfolio includes customer-facing apps for self-service devices activation for customers and agents, internal operations tooling supporting dynamic ad insertion, and set-top box applications.
- We are also growing into a space to serve internal teams’ niche use cases building an extensible UI application architected for rapid delivery.
- We are not a large team and expect every team member to make an impactful contribution each two-week Sprint.
- Domain knowledge is gained experimentally via assigned work.
Requirements
- Hands-on developer with 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Understand concepts of UI design, able to build/create with an idea-level understanding of a project. Most of the time we won’t get wireframes/mocks to follow.
- Able to meet general accessibility requirements without them being provided explicitly.
- Must be competent and able to independently contribute from day 1 in the following technologies: React - Vue - HTML Canvas - CSS - RESTful API integration
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus: Node.js - Cypress - Express - WebGL
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.
- Understanding of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and JSON Web Tokens (JWT)

- Independently analyze and implement solutions for assigned tasks.

- Strong and In-depth experience using Agile, Scrum and Iterative development practices.
