Job Description:  

Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) is a machine learning/AI powered customer acquisition and CRM multi-tenant platform. The Senior Front-end Engineer will be joining the Core team of ZMP which owns the foundational platform services that empower both clients and peer teams. 

As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for taking decisions around building a scalable web application with goal to improve the agility of developing web applications by enforcing reusability, consistency across user interfaces, and with a focus on improving the developer experience.  

You should have a deep knowledge of frontend libraries, restful APIs and must have an extensive frontend application design and development experience. You should be passionate about building high-performance web applications where the issues of throughput, performance, redundancy, and concurrency are paramount. 

Key Responsibilities:  

As a Senior Front-end Engineer with a focus on Core Team, you will: 

  • Independently and collaboratively understand business needs, design, and implement core components for a cutting-edge marketing automation platform, simplifying and enhancing the user experiences. 
  • Design and implement high-quality application code that aligns with product requirements, optimizing for performance and scalability. 
  • Ensure high product quality through rigorous code reviews, unit tests, and AI-driven testing tools where applicable. 
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, implement enhancements, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback. 
  • Take ownership of a significant product component, from design through to deployment. 

Requirements: 

We are looking for a talented Senior Front-end Engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and experience in frontend development. 

  • 8+ years of experience and expertise in Vanilla JavaScript, CSS3, TypeScript, ES6+, AJAX, Webpack, and ReactJS to build robust and scalable web applications.
  • Bachelor’s (Master’s degree is a plus) in Computer Science or related field; a university where English is the primary language of instruction is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, effectively collaborating within large, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Possesses advanced logic-building capabilities, facilitating the design and implementation of highly efficient and scalable programming solutions.

Qualifications: 

  • Front-end Mastery: Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular). 
  • Micro-Front-end Architecture: Experience with modern front-end development, particularly micro-frontend architecture. 
  • API Expertise: Strong understanding of REST architecture, HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP2.0, and WebSockets. 
  • Web Development Tools: Proficiency with tools like Webpack, Rollup, and other code-building tools. 
  • Web Servers & Protocols: Familiarity with web servers (e.g., NGINX, Apache) and backend-focused languages (Go, Node.js, Java, Python) is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience.
