Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help complete an existing software project. The project is already underway, and we need a hands-on engineer who can quickly understand the current codebase, identify unfinished features, resolve technical issues, and deliver a stable, production-ready application.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in both backend and frontend development, can work independently, and is comfortable taking ownership of an existing project from its current state through completion.

This is an opportunity for a practical, results-oriented engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, improving existing systems, and turning unfinished software into a reliable product.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand the existing application, codebase, architecture, and documentation.
• Assess the current project status and identify unfinished features, bugs, and technical gaps.
• Develop and improve frontend interfaces and backend services.
• Build, maintain, and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Debug existing functionality and resolve complex technical issues.
• Refactor code to improve performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement remaining product features based on business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, reusable, well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Work with Git, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and meet project milestones.
• Help prepare the application for production deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Significant professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Senior Software Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing backend applications.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies, such as JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Experience taking over and extending an existing codebase.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
• Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, delivery-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and production monitoring.
• Experience completing partially developed software products and preparing them for launch.
