As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Web & Infrastructure Team, you will work across our entire technology stack, helping to design, build, and maintain scalable and robust software solutions. You will play a key role in developing RESTful APIs, managing complex databases, building frontend applications, and deploying customer solutions using modern infrastructure tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python/Flask.
- Manage and optimize complex databases using PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and Redux, leveraging ES6+ JavaScript extensions for advanced functionality.
- Implement and support deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Implement microservices-based systems, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
- Integrate and manage communication between microservices using industry best practices (e.g., gRPC, message queues, or REST).
- Monitor and improve microservices performance and fault tolerance in production environments.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Flask.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in frontend development using React and Redux, with a strong understanding of ES6+ JavaScript extensions.
- Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns, performance and scale.
- Experience deploying and debugging applications on physical servers or EC2-like environments.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and message systems.
- Exposure to infrastructure and networking concepts as part of development work.
- Ability to analyze, design and develop software systems to meet customer requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Our compensation package plays a big part in how we value your impact on our mission. Our base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The estimated base salary guideline range for this role is between $150,000-$220,000 and may be modified. This will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for sales roles), and benefits.
