About Bend
We help millions of people move better every day. Bend is the #1 stretching app with 10M+ users who rely on us to maintain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. We're a tiny and mighty team of 7 (4 in engineering) that's been profitably growing for 2+ years. Bootstrapped and thriving!
What you'll build
You'll own the web platform, backend services, and AI personalization systems that power our web and mobile apps. - Low process, high standards. We don't have a lot of ceremonies, but we expect excellence.
- AI-first mindset. You'll help us pioneer AI-assisted development and build cutting-edge personalization systems.
You might be a fit if you
- Have strong full-stack chops and can ship features end-to-end
- Test your own work religiously—we trust you to catch your own bugs
- Advocate for technical priorities while staying pragmatic and business-focused
- Dive into unfamiliar territory without hesitation
- Communicate with empathy, kindness, and clarity
- Care about helping people become healthier
- Are comfortable setting up AWS infrastructure
What you'll get

- Note: We are unable to sponsor work visas at this time.
Our interview process
- Getting to know you: 45-minute video call with hiring manager
