Final Strike Games is looking for a Senior Game AI Engineer to join our studio to design, implement, and optimize gameplay AI systems for a new Co-Development project with Epic. Substantial experience in developing AI behaviors in Unreal Engine will be crucial. In this role you will work with the design team to define AI requirements for the project, while iterating continually to enable fun, engaging, and satisfying AI encounters.
You will also be encouraged to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to creative problems, and will enjoy significant autonomy as it pertains to system design and AI implementation choices. Team members are expected to lead with curiosity and to help cultivate a trusting and collaborative environment with your fellow engineers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work closely with designers, artists, animators, and other engineers to develop robust and satisfying AI behaviors and encounters
- Design, implement, and drive game AI systems and architecture in conjunction with the team
- Develop test cases regarding game AI and integrate with the QA team
- Collaborate with production and leadership to create and manage production tasks for game AI features, while self-managing time and responsibilities
- Actively participate in playtests and drive solutions for any encountered problems with AI
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of game engineering experience (3+ working on game AI)
- Experience building AI features in Unreal Engine
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
Nice to have
- Experience shipping a title as an AI Engineer
- Experience developing AI behaviors for FPS titles
