Ostium is on a simple mission: make it possible for anyone with a digital wallet to trade stocks, commodities, currencies, and crypto with full transparency. No brokers, no freezes, no hidden spreads. We’re replacing the opaque, offshore brokerage model with a transparent, permissionless trading stack built onchain. Every trade, deposit, and withdrawal is verifiable through open, auditable code. We’ve raised $27.9M+ from General Catalyst, Jump, LocalGlobe, Susquehanna (SIG), GSR, Alliance DAO, Soma Capital, Balaji Srinivasan, Meltem Demirors, and others.

About Ostium

Ostium is building the onchain broker layer for global markets, enabling trading of equities, commodities, indices, and FX via perpetuals. We've raised $27M+ from General Catalyst and Jump Crypto, have processed $50B+ in trading volume to date, and generated more than $35M in fees over the last year, with growing traction among high-volume macro traders.

We're a lean, high-velocity go-to-market team, and we're looking for a high-agency Growth Marketer to join us.

About the Role

As a Senior Growth Marketing Lead, you'll own user acquisition end to end and unlock new growth channels. You'll be the person who determines where our next 10,000 traders come from and executes the experiments that prove it.

This is a zero-to-one role. You'll start as a hands-on operator running campaigns and growth experiments alongside our Head of Marketing, Creative, Social, and Business Development teams. As channels and tactics are validated, you'll help build the team that scales them.

What You'll Own
  • Net new user acquisition. Own the top of the funnel, including traffic, signups, funded accounts, and first trades.

  • Channel discovery and arbitrage. Identify, test, and scale acquisition channels we aren't running today, including SEO, lifecycle email, paid social, TikTok, YouTube creators and finance influencers, Reddit, Telegram communities, podcast sponsorships, referral and affiliate programs, retargeting, regional channels in LATAM, SEA, and MENA, and any asymmetric growth opportunities you discover.

  • Influencer and creator strategy. Build a trader-focused creator program. Source, negotiate with, brief, and measure YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram creators whose audiences resemble our next cohort of traders.

  • SEO and content. Build our SEO program from scratch, including keyword strategy, programmatic pages, comparison and "vs." content, educational hubs, and link building. Partner with content writers and engineers to execute.

  • Lifecycle marketing. Own the email, push notification, and in-app user journey from waitlist to first deposit through long-term retention, including segmentation, automated triggers, win-back campaigns, and deposit flows.

  • Paid acquisition. Launch and optimize paid acquisition channels where regulation and CAC allow, including programmatic, paid social, search, and native advertising. Quickly shut down what doesn't work.

  • Funnel analytics. Define growth metrics, build dashboards, and drive a rigorous experimentation cadence. Track CAC by channel, funded account conversion, LTV, and payback period.

Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally within crypto, consumer fintech, or trading platforms.

  • Deep expertise in at least two growth channels. For example, you've successfully scaled paid search or paid social campaigns, or built a UGC program from scratch.

  • A true zero-to-one operator. You've built a growth function from the ground up by selecting channels, implementing tools, running experiments, and delivering measurable results.

  • High agency with full ownership. You don't wait for direction. You identify opportunities and are excited to execute experiments yourself.

  • Highly analytical and comfortable using tools such as GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, and attribution platforms.

  • A strong writer who can create ad copy, landing pages, creator briefs, and email campaigns without relying on a copywriter.

  • Both an operator and a builder, capable of executing independently today while growing a team over time.

  • Crypto native or an active trader. You either actively trade on traditional or crypto platforms, or you deeply understand crypto culture and are excited to immerse yourself in the perpetual DEX and onchain trading ecosystem.

Bonus Points
  • Experience growing products in regulated or semi-regulated industries where paid acquisition is constrained, such as crypto, iGaming, CFDs, or similar markets.

  • Experience building affiliate or introducing broker (IB) programs.

  • Active participation in Telegram trading communities with an established network.

  • Experience scaling modern distribution tactics such as clipping, TikTok, or YouTube creator programs.

  • Hands-on experience with attribution platforms and AI tools for marketing and growth.

  • You are an active trader yourself.

  • Dream profile: You've previously grown a CFD platform, brokerage, or retail trading platform such as IBKR, eToro, Plus500, Robinhood, Revolut, Webull, Trading 212, XTB, IG, Capital.com, Public, OANDA, or Pepperstone. You understand how traders are acquired and what motivates them to fund their accounts.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
