The Senior HR Coordinator at Burkhart Dental Supply will support a wide range of HR functions including assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, recordkeeping, compliance, and HR/Payroll administrative tasks.
This is a hybrid position based out of Tacoma, WA working in the office 1-2 days per week.

What you’ll be doing…
  • Supporting Burkhart's business operation needs by assisting with the recruitment process including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Coordinates new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and benefits enrollment.
  • Supporting Burkhart's HRIS systems and payroll including ADP, GeoTab, The Bridge, LMS systems, etc., Responsible for coordination with TPA for payroll review, approval, and payroll reporting. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems. Process HR documentation including employee status changes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Contributing to Burkhart's success by modeling the Burkhart culture to clients and team members, accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team results. Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and training sessions.
  • Providing an exceptional client experience by communicating via phone, email, and mail with associates and outside agencies in a highly professional, customer-service oriented manner. Provides timely responses and follow-ups to associate inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
What you’ll need…
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
        Preferred Education and/or Experience:
  • Experience with HRIS (ADP), ATS, and other HR tech platforms.
  • Experience with a multi-state employer.
Salary Info: The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
