Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Nectar Social, you'll architect and build the foundation of our AI commerce platform. This is a crucial role where you'll tackle complex technical challenges to ensure our system operates reliably at scale while maintaining the speed of development our customers expect.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, and infrastructure as code

• Building and optimizing our database architecture to handle complex data operations efficiently

• Developing robust monitoring and observability systems to ensure platform reliability

• Creating automated deployment pipelines and developer tools that enable rapid iteration

• Collaborating with product engineers to architect solutions that balance speed and scalability

• Implementing security best practices across our infrastructure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems

• Technical excellence: Deep expertise with AWS and infrastructure as code (Pulumi experience is a plus)

• System design: Proven ability to architect reliable, scalable distributed systems

• Problem solving: Track record of solving complex technical challenges in high-growth environments

• Execution speed: Ability to write high-quality code quickly and make pragmatic technical decisions
