Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity on its Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems (SIWS) Strategy team for a Senior Strategy Analyst for our Intelligence and Space Exploration businesses! In this role you will develop and deliver strategic analysis that informs business strategy, investment decisions, capture planning, and senior leadership decision-making. This position will be based in Arlington, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and synthesize trends across technology, investments, threat, competitors and customers to identify strategic opportunities and risks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Program Management, Engineering, Business Development, Finance) to develop investment plans and business cases
  • Ability to understand the bigger strategic picture, while also being able to deep-dive into the key strategic and tactical issues of the businesses
  • Create concise, executive-level briefings and written deliverables that clearly present conclusions and actionable recommendations for senior leaders

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations
  • 5 years of experience creating executive level presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel)
  • Knowledge of National Air and Space Administration (NASA) programs, plans and procurement environment
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community customers and acquisition processes
  • Experience with cross-functional projects
  • Experience in strategy, corporate development, or market analysis role or related experience
  • Experience presenting work products to executives, senior leadership, or external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior business and functional leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 5: 7+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in developing and analyzing complex business case and cost models
  • Familiarity with Space Launch market and customers
  • Experience with systems engineering, operations analysis, and/or threat analysis

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation may be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 25%

Level 4: $122,400 - $165,600

Level 5: $168,300 - $205,700
