About the role

As a Senior IT SOX Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing Zillow Group’s IT SOX program. You will oversee key elements of the IT SOX audit cycle, collaborate with internal and external auditors, and lead remediation efforts to enhance our control environment. You will work with Engineering and Technology teams to implement IT General Controls (ITGCs) for new systems and technologies, ensuring SOX compliance is integrated into Zillow’s evolving tech stack.

You Will Get To:
  • Guide control owners through audit activities, including preparation for walkthroughs, documentation gathering, and ensuring audit readiness.

  • Lead IT control remediations, including investigating deficiencies, performing exposure analysis, developing remediation plans, project managing remediation activities, and validating corrective actions.

  • Assist with the design and implementation of IT General Controls for new systems, tools, and infrastructure, including cloud environments and homegrown code-based systems.

  • Contribute to the annual IT SOX risk assessment by identifying and addressing gaps in access and change management controls.

  • Monitor IT controls and evaluate audit readiness by documenting requirements, collecting, and reviewing evidence.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for in-scope systems and controls, including code repositories, change types, access roles, permissions, and segregation of duties analyses.

Who you are

  • Experience coordinating and supporting internal and external audits and managing evidence collection.

  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across a variety of departments.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Preferred but not required CPA, CISA, or other relevant professional certification.
