Senior IT System Administrator 
 

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT System Administrator with deep expertise in IT systems to be an escalation point for our IT Support Specialists and assist IT system admins in management of our enterprise tool set . This role is critical to ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our IT team. 
 

Key Responsibilities
 

System Administration and maintenance

  • Assist other Senior IT System admins in the management of our IT Tool Sets

  • Become a subject matter expert in at least two major tool sets (example Okta, Microsoft, Atlassian etc)

  • Assist in the maintenance of these tool sets by helping with onboarding, offboarding, new feature rollouts and system cleanups.

  • Manage technical debt and helping optimize IT workflows.
     

Support & Collaboration

  • Act as an escalation point for complex ITSM issues for support team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, HR, help desk) to improve device onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes.

  • Document procedures, system changes, and troubleshooting workflows.
     

Job Description
 

The IT team at UserTesting is tasked with the management of company wide systems as well as being an integration point as well as an automation and support role for the company and its many technology initiatives.  Someone seeking this role should be prepared to be introduced to a large number of IT systems and processes and ready to learn them from the System administrator role point of view. 

Role Requirements
  • Able to work Monday through Friday in MST or PST timezones. 

  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise IT systems in a system admin. 

  • Ability to work in a Kanban style environment, keeping up with work and effectively managing due dates, new tasks and tech debt.

  • Ability to create and maintain documentation from an ITSM perspective including both Support and Admin level documentation

  • Ability to train and mentor IT Support staff on ITSM practices as it applies to UT IT support processes. 

  • Certification in Okta or Microsoft / Intune is a plus

  • Ability to get certified in complex tool sets as per the job key responsibilities.
