Ready to make an impact? Let's talk.

The Role

Amperity’s Growth Marketing team is looking for an experienced and experienced Lifecycle Marketer to lead our email marketing strategy and campaign execution. You will manage the entire lifecycle marketing funnel—from reaching new prospects to nurturing and engaging our database, converting in-pipeline opportunities, and accelerating growth through customer retention and expansion efforts. In a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment, lifecycle marketing contributes in driving value realization, adoption, and revenue through the product experience. You’ll collaborate to develop personalized, data-driven programs that support users through trial, activation, and paid conversion—building seamless, customer-centric journeys across email and in-product channels. If you’re passionate about campaign strategy, behavioral data, and creating targeted experiences that move the needle at every lifecycle stage—read on. You will report to the Senior Director; Growth Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Build, monitor, and improve complex automated campaign journeys and triggers in Marketo to educate and convert prospects throughout the lead-to-MQL lifecycle.
  • Oversee end-to-end email campaign development—from planning and copywriting to segmentation, testing, and launch—with a focus on personalization and performance.
  • Partner with Customer Marketing to refine the onboarding experience and ensure users are engaged early, improving activation, adoption, and retention while reducing churn
  • Develop programs that guide contacts through the funnel, engage buying committees, and quickly convert high-intent hand-raisers for Sales.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Content, and Design to ensure go-to-market messaging, compelling CTAs, and a unified experience across email campaigns.
  • Work with Product and Growth teams to create lifecycle strategies that use product behavior signals to improve conversion and upsell opportunities.
  • Design, test, and launch in-product lifecycle messaging (by email or push) that supports user activation and feature discovery.
  • Develop lifecycle strategies that fuel expansion, referrals, and feedback loops—core elements of a successful PLG motion.
  • Create and nurture leads through events, email, retargeting, social ads, and paid search.
About You
  • 8+ years of experience building lifecycle and email marketing programs.
  • Understand Product-Led Growth (PLG) models and how lifecycle marketing supports trial conversion, product adoption, and expansion
  • Experienced in collaborating with product, customer success, and sales teams to align lifecycle marketing strategies with broader our goals
  • Fluent in main growth metrics such as activation, product-qualified leads (PQLs), feature adoption, retention, and churn
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms (Marketo) to build segmented lists, create templates, manage workflows, and track campaign performance
  • Bring a data-first mindset, using insights to make decisions and optimize lifecycle performance across the funnel
  • Experience drafting and refining campaign content, email copy, strategies, and briefs.
  • Take a holistic and Agile approach to customer acquisition and engagement, with experience presenting campaign results by platform, channel, and lifecycle stage to senior partners.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
