What We're Looking For

Statsig is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to pioneer and shape our Machine Learning initiatives. You will be a lead developer responsible for setting direction and building the foundation for Machine Learning at Statsig, both for internal and external use. The scope of the role is very ambiguous. The exact products, implementation, and roadmap is not clearly defined, offering an opportunity for an experienced Machine Learning engineer to solidify the path. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and integration of machine learning models and frameworks at scale.

  • Define the technical direction and strategy for Machine Learning applications.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on ML objectives and outcomes.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to existing team members.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work full time from our Bellevue, WA office.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with progressive amounts of responsibility.

  • Proven experience with large-scale machine learning applications and frameworks.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in ambiguous, evolving environments.

  • A track record of successfully delivering ML solutions from concept to production.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of a critical area and influence the long-term ML strategy at Statsig.
