The Business Development team within Emburse serves as a crucial part of the overall Sales organization in building both the sales pipeline and nurturing our next group of rising sales stars. On the Business Development team, you will have the opportunity to learn the FinTech software space from the ground up and work alongside our world class Sales team to cultivate new sales opportunities.
What you will do :
- Accomplish team goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, and guiding employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards in partnership with Emburse, Inc. leadership through directly managing a team of Business Development Representatives
- Design prospect outreach strategies using Salesforce.com and other tools such as SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn
- Optimize the handoff of qualified leads to the appropriate sales teams and ensure leads meet qualification criteria
- Set daily, weekly, monthly activity KPI's for team of Business Development Representatives
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to optimize the funnel, segment leads, track and report on campaigns, and develop Business Development process
- Communicate lead volume to Emburse leadership and ensure proper campaigns are in place to meet lead goals
- Oversee and manage database of prospects and lead flow process as well as report on Business Development team results in Salesforce
- Measure, analyze and report on team performance
What we are looking for :
- Education : Preferred : College degree
- Experience : Required : 5+ years of experience in a related marketing or sales capacity, preferably with 1+ years managing a team at the B2B level
- Required Skills : Experience and expertise with a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement software (SalesLoft preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully
- Proven ability to successfully work on cross-functional projects
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environmentHave close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
- Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound Sitting for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
