General Description:

The Senior Manager, Compliance Operations & Analytics will serve as a key strategic and operational partner to the Head of Compliance, Americas, helping drive the execution, scalability, and effectiveness of the North America Compliance Program.

This role combines compliance operations, program management, governance, analytics, and cross-functional project leadership to support a modern, risk-based compliance program. The individual will help translate compliance strategy into execution by managing key initiatives, strengthening program infrastructure, enhancing governance processes, overseeing operational activities, and leveraging data-driven insights to identify and mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate has compliance experience, is a highly organized, business-minded compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with operational execution. This role will work closely with Compliance, Legal, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Finance, HR, Corporate Affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance processes remain effective, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Compliance Operations & Strategic Initiatives

  • Serve as a key operational partner to the Head of Compliance, Americas, helping drive execution of strategic priorities and key program initiatives.
  • Support the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of the North America Compliance Program, ensuring alignment with OIG, DOJ, and industry expectations.
  • Manage and enhance compliance infrastructure, including policies, procedures, training records, risk assessments, monitoring plans, governance materials, and documentation repositories.
  • Coordinate compliance governance activities, including committee meetings, leadership reporting, and tracking of action items and remediation efforts.
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects, business initiatives, system implementations, and organizational changes to ensure appropriate compliance controls are embedded.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, scalability, and consistency across compliance processes, systems, and tools.

Compliance Analytics & Reporting

  • Lead the development and maintenance of compliance dashboards, reporting, and analytics that provide meaningful insights into program effectiveness and emerging risks.
  • Analyze data from key business activities and compliance systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for proactive risk mitigation.
  • Support compliance monitoring, auditing, investigations, and risk assessments through data analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with Compliance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate data into actionable recommendations and informed decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance analytics capabilities, monitoring methodologies, and reporting tools to support a modern, risk-based compliance program.

Monitoring & Risk Management

  • Support the execution of risk-based monitoring and auditing activities across commercial, medical, patient support, and other business functions.
  • Track remediation activities and help ensure timely resolution of identified compliance risks and control gaps.
  • Identify emerging trends and recommend enhancements to controls, monitoring activities, training, and risk mitigation strategies.

Policies, Training & Communications

  • Support the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, guidance documents, and training materials.
  • Assist in the delivery of compliance communications, awareness initiatives, and training programs that promote ethical business practices and a culture of integrity.
  • Help drive employee engagement and compliance culture initiatives across the North America organization.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with our Global Compliance Program Office Team.
  • Serve as a trusted compliance partner to stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and other functions.
  • Provide practical, business-minded compliance support for new initiatives, operational processes, and strategic projects.
  • Foster collaborative relationships that strengthen compliance, enable business objectives, and support sustainable growth.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or 5+ years of experience with a Masters degree
  • Advanced degree or compliance certification (CHC, CCEP, JD, MBA, etc.) preferred.

Computer Skills:   

  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), SmartSheet, Tableu, Visio, Internet)
  • Experience working with systems and platforms such as Power BI, Excel, Concur, SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar tools preferred.

Other Qualifications:    

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, compliance operations, compliance analytics, audit, investigations, or related functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry with a Bachelor’s degree Or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including:
    • Anti-Kickback Statute
    • False Claims Act
    • FDA promotional regulations
    • PhRMA Code
    • OIG Compliance Program Guidance
  • Demonstrated experience developing and utilizing compliance analytics, dashboards, monitoring tools, and risk-based reporting.
  • Experience supporting compliance monitoring, auditing, investigations, or operational risk management processes.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional operational initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities, including experience translating data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets and identify meaningful trends, anomalies, and risk indicators.

Salary Range: $153,400.00 - $198,400.00 annually

Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
