Who We Are:

Fusable is a leader in data-driven solutions for the trucking, agriculture, and construction industries. We're passionate about valuing our associates for their unique skills, ideas, and backgrounds, and we're committed to building an inclusive, innovative workplace where everyone can thrive.

Your Role as a Sr. Manager of Corporate Strategy:

We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Corporate Strategy to join our Office of the CEO and reporting to our VP, Strategy. This role is ideal for someone who loves getting into the details of a market — sizing it, researching it, benchmarking the competition — and can just as easily step back to help shape the bigger strategic picture. You'll sit close to executive decision-making, with direct visibility into how the company sets and tracks its priorities and be a key partner in how we understand our markets, track our performance, and decide where to invest next.

This is a remote-first role. We ask that candidates be able to work core East Coast business hours to stay in sync with the executive team and the rest of the strategy function.

A Day in the Life of a Sr. Manager of Corporate Strategy:

  • Build external market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) and industry research to inform growth and investment decisions.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, tracking competitor positioning, product moves, and market trends.
  • Track, validate, and package key business metrics for executive and leadership review.
  • Partner with the VP, Strategy to prepare materials for executive and leadership business reviews.
  • Research and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including M&A targets, market sizing, and competitive landscaping.
  • Support for Private Equity transaction processes including documentation creation, organization, and program management.
  • Take on ad hoc strategic analyses and business cases as priorities arise, working cross-functionally to pull together the data you need.

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, product management, or a similarly analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or progress toward one a plus.
  • A track record of independently sourcing, structuring, and analyzing data from a range of internal and external sources.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including experience building financial or market models.
  • The ability to move fluidly between detailed, tactical data work and clear, high-level strategic storytelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A self-starter mentality and comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Why Join Us

  • A seat in the Office of the CEO, with direct exposure to executive decision-making and company strategy from day one.
  • A high-ownership role with real influence over the metrics and analysis that drive business decisions.
  • Mentorship and knowledge transfer from experienced strategy and leadership team members.
  • The chance to build critical strategic infrastructure at a growing, data-driven company.
  • Remote-first flexibility, with a collaborative rhythm built around East Coast hours.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
