The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing & Supply to lead the strategy, development, and performance of Minted’s global supplier network, ensuring we have the right partners, capabilities, economics, capacity, compliance, and supply plans to support our current business and future product growth.

This role will partner closely with Product Development, Business Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Finance, and Legal to shape sourcing and supply strategies from early product development through commercialization, production, and ongoing supply. You will lead key supplier relationships and commercial negotiations, oversee sourcing and supply planning across the portfolio, and proactively manage cost, capacity, quality, inventory, compliance, and supply risk.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines strong commercial and strategic judgment with deep sourcing and supply expertise and is comfortable moving between long-term strategy and hands-on problem-solving.

You will:

  • Lead global sourcing and supply strategies across assigned product categories, ensuring the supplier network has the capabilities, capacity, cost structure, quality, compliance, and resilience needed to support business objectives.
  • Develop and evolve the global supplier portfolio, including identifying capability gaps, evaluating new sourcing markets and manufacturing partners, and leading the qualification and onboarding of strategic suppliers.
  • Partner with Product Development and Business Operations early in the product development process to inform supplier selection, manufacturability, target costs, materials, lead times, and commercialization strategies.
  • Provide oversight of new product development and commercialization, ensuring complex or strategically important programs are effectively transitioned from concept through scaled production.
  • Own strategic supplier relationships and lead major commercial negotiations, including pricing frameworks, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, capacity commitments, and other key commercial terms.
  • Develop and lead cost-management and value-engineering strategies across the portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve product economics through supplier negotiations, materials, manufacturing methods, product specifications, sourcing decisions, and landed-cost optimization.
  • Provide oversight of supply and inventory planning across the portfolio, ensuring demand forecasts are translated into appropriate purchasing, production, and inventory strategies that balance availability, lead times, capacity, MOQs, and supply risk.
  • Partner with Planning and Supply Chain teams to identify longer-term demand, capacity, and inventory risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
  • Lead supplier capacity and production-readiness planning, particularly for major product launches, seasonal demand, and Peak, ensuring sufficient materials, tooling, labor, equipment, and contingency plans are in place.
  • Own the compliance framework for the global supplier network, ensuring suppliers meet Minted’s requirements related to responsible sourcing, product and regulatory compliance, documentation, testing, and other applicable standards.
  • Partner with Logistics, Finance, Legal, and external customs and trade partners to ensure compliance with import/export requirements, customs regulations, product classification, country-of-origin requirements, duties, tariffs, and required shipping documentation.
  • Monitor changes in tariffs, duties, trade regulations, and sourcing-country requirements; assess potential cost and supply implications and develop mitigation strategies as appropriate.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate global sourcing and supply risks, including supplier concentration, capacity constraints, material availability, long lead times, geopolitical exposure, trade and compliance risk, tariffs, quality issues, and other potential disruptions.
  • Establish and manage supplier performance expectations across cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, capacity, compliance, and continuous improvement, using scorecards, business reviews, corrective-action plans, and executive escalation as appropriate.
  • Partner with Quality to ensure appropriate supplier quality systems, product specifications, testing, inspection standards, and corrective-action processes are established and maintained.
  • Partner with Logistics and Supply Chain to ensure sourcing and production strategies appropriately account for freight, lead times, shipment timing, inventory requirements, customs and import requirements, duties and tariffs, and overall landed-cost considerations.
  • Build strong relationships with supplier ownership and senior leadership, creating productive long-term partnerships while maintaining clear accountability for performance.
  • Identify emerging manufacturing technologies, materials, supplier capabilities, and sourcing opportunities that can enable product innovation, improve economics, or strengthen Minted’s supply network.
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, processes, and visibility across sourcing, development, production, inventory, compliance, and supplier performance to enable proactive decision-making and escalation.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, prioritization, and development for members of the Global Sourcing & Supply team.
  • Travel internationally as required for supplier visits, strategic business reviews, product development, production reviews, and sourcing activities.

You have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in global sourcing, supply management, product development, manufacturing, or related supply chain roles.
  • Significant experience working directly with global manufacturers and managing complex supplier relationships, ideally in consumer products, home, stationery, gifting, retail, or other design-led categories.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple products, categories, or suppliers.
  • Strong commercial experience, including strategic supplier negotiations, cost management, pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and value engineering.
  • Strong understanding of supply and inventory planning, demand forecasting, production planning, capacity management, and purchase-order processes.
  • Deep understanding of product development and manufacturing processes from concept through commercialization and scaled production.
  • Experience managing supplier compliance and working knowledge of international trade requirements, including customs, duties, tariffs, country of origin, product classification, and import documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage supplier performance, capacity, quality, compliance, and supply risk.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs across cost, landed cost, quality, inventory, speed, innovation, compliance, and risk.
  • Excellent relationship-management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal stakeholders and supplier leadership.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing team members.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
