Senior Manager, GTM Business Systems

As we scale our go-to-market operations, we need a systems leader who can own the architecture that powers the Hyperproof GTM Engine: from lead to close, to renewal to general customer success. We are hiring a Senior Manager, GTM Business Systems to work within our Business Operations team. This role reports to the Director, Business and Revenue Operations and will work closely with them to define the business systems strategy, including optimization of existing tools and roadmap planning. This leader will bring discipline and rigor to our approach to building systems, processes and workflows around Salesforce and other integrated systems.

North Star: Systems that are reliable, well-documented, and require minimal manual intervention, even as complexity grows.

WHO YOU ARE
  • A strategic systems leader, not just an administrator. You think in terms of architecture, data flow, and business outcomes, and you happen to be deeply skilled in Salesforce (Flows, APEX, Lightning) as your primary platform.
    • You’ve owned interconnected business systems ecosystems end-to-end, not just administered individual tools, but understood how they fit together and where data flows break down.
    • You default to Salesforce as the system of record and instinctively think about how data should flow between systems before building anything.
  • You’re never satisfied with “it works.” You continuously evaluate the systems landscape for optimization, automation, and opportunities to simplify.
  • You thrive in environments where the structure is shifting; you see it as a challenge to keep the ship stable.
  • You’re the connective tissue between technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to translate business problems into systems solutions and explain technical trade-offs in plain language.
  • Results-oriented with a bias toward action. You drive issues to closure and don’t let things linger.
  • You bring strong project management instincts and can evaluate options against cost, complexity, timeline, and business impact to recommend the right path forward.
  • You believe in documentation as a discipline, not an afterthought. You’ve built data governance frameworks, technical maps, and systems documentation that other people actually use.
  • Curious and proactive about AI and emerging technologies; willing to experiment with tools and AI-assisted automation to improve efficiency across the revenue tech stack.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO

Leadership and Communication

  • Be the thought partner for the Director of  Business and Revenue Operations. Be the right hand in pushing our operational efficiency forward.
  • Manage and develop one Salesforce Administrator, providing clear priorities, regular feedback, and growth opportunities. Build the team’s capacity to support a growing systems portfolio as Hyperproof scales.
  • Own a structured intake and prioritization process for systems requests. Independently evaluate whether a requested change is valid, needed, and properly scoped or whether it needs to be escalated to Business Operations Leadership. Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and timelines transparently to stakeholders

Systems Strategy & Roadmap

  • Co-own the business systems roadmap with the Director of Business Operations. Evaluate, recommend, and prioritize optimization opportunities, new tool implementations, and architectural changes.
  • Architect the integration and data flow strategy across the revenue tech stack, with Salesforce as the system of record. Own the technical vision for how systems connect.
  • Lead/PM all large business systems implementations, including requirements gathering, vendor/tool evaluation, Agile delivery, and go-live. You get a say in whether a tool is a good fit before we commit.

Operations & Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for all tools in the business operations stack. Own implementations, configurations, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Own or partner on critical  workflows such as; lead routing, attribution, account hierarchy, CPQ and order management, and auto-renewals.
  • Maintain all integrations with minimal downtime or errors. Leverage APIs for data exchange and user auto-provisioning across the stack.
  • Ensure all systems meet Hyperproof standards: no duplicates, seamless data flow, and consistent setup across environments.
  • Maintain the RevOps sprint cadence, checkpoints, and release calendar. Consistently meet deployment deadlines.
  • Hands-on CPQ ownership. We are completing a Nue CPQ re-implementation and this will be a primary focus during onboarding.

Documentation & Data Governance

  • Create and maintain comprehensive systems documentation: technical maps, field libraries, integration documentation, and change logs. All system changes require documentation for education and compliance before release.
  • Own the data governance framework, including defined data owners, quality standards, SLAs, and escalation paths.

Security & Compliance

Own security settings across all tools: user access reviews, permission configurations, and customer data protection. Understand requirements across EU, FedRAMP, and additional audit frameworks relevant to Hyperproof’s use case.

Review and validate security configurations on a regular cadence, with documented evidence.

AI & Innovation

  • Identify and pilot AI-powered enhancements across the business systems stack (e.g., AI-driven data enrichment, intelligent automation). Bring recommendations to Business Operations Leadership with clear business cases and measurable outcomes.
  • Stay current on AI capabilities within Salesforce and adjacent tools. Proactively assess how emerging features can reduce manual effort or improve data quality.
HOW YOU’LL KNOW YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL

(Within 3 Months)

  • Complete a full audit of the current business systems landscape and deliver a prioritized optimization roadmap.
  • Establish and document a data governance framework with defined owners, SLAs, and escalation paths.
  • Successfully onboard to all integrations, demonstrating the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Deliver at least one measurable improvement.

 (Within 6 Months)

  • Execute at least 3 prioritized optimization deliverables.
  • Ensure the data governance framework is aligned and working.
  • Deliver 3 measurable improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 6+ years of Salesforce Strategy experience with demonstrated progression into systems architecture and advanced technical skills, not just administration.
  • Experience with at least 3, in addition to SFDC, of our named tools at the bottom of the JD.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flows
  • 4+ years managing multiple systems including integrations between CRM, Marketing, BI, etc.
  • Experience with Marketing Outbound Tools
  • Experience gathering requirements and facilitating meetings with stakeholders to define use cases and needs of stakeholders
  • Experience leading application implementations.
  • Track record of eliminating data quality issues at scale
  • Experience with Lean Data or similar lead routing tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep understanding of Sales and SAAS business model including PLG and ABM

HOW YOU’LL SHOW UP
  • Coachable, fast learner who can pick up new skills and processes quickly
  • Detail-oriented, taking into consideration each moving part of the system before taking action or recommending a solution
  • A growth mindset toward AI and emerging technologies — willing to test, learn, and iterate rather than waiting for perfect solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills, curiosity, and a helpful mindset.
  • A user-centric, empathetic approach to introducing systems change

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
