The Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Value & Evidence (HV&E) team is responsible for ensuring patients have affordable, timely access to medicines and vaccines by advancing innovative value and evidence solutions to inform healthcare decision-making.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, HTA, Value & Evidence Senior Manager, Lung Cancer is responsible for supporting the development and execution of high-quality HV&E strategic efforts to enable optimal access and reimbursement of Pfizer's lung cancer portfolio, with a special focus on sigvotatug vidotin (SV), a priority asset in development for multiple indications. This role directly impacts the ability to achieve business objectives on a global basis by supporting strategies and robust evidence development relevant for optimal global patient access by demonstrating the value of SV.
This position will function with a 'One Global Access & Value (GAV)' mindset and will work in a closely aligned fashion with the SV and broader Lung Cancer & Precision Medicine GAV team members to ensure there is a single and coordinated view on strategy and delivery from the GAV team to the lung cancer and oncology business.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,100.00 to $225,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of the Global HV&E Strategy in close partnership with GAV and the cross-functional team
- Manage execution of clinically relevant and scientifically valid HV&E studies and projects (including non-interventional studies, registries, etc.) in alignment with the global HV&E Strategy to demonstrate the value proposition for diverse stakeholders (regulators, payers, patients, physicians, and policy makers)
- Lead updates of core deliverables including global value dossiers (GVDs), economic models, and innovative tools to support value proposition
- Support real world evidence (RWE) generation strategies and execute studies to enable differentiation and strengthen value proposition
- Support the coordination of input from local country/regional Access & Value teams on evidence needs and ensure that input is appropriately incorporated to support demonstration of product value and optimize patient access
- Lead the development of data dissemination plans and communicate, in a timely manner, evidence generated to various stakeholders via publications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Master's degree required (MSc, MPH) in HEOR-relevant field such as health services research, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy administration/pharmaceutical policy, or other research-focused public health field; Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD) in relevant fields preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with PhD/DrPH/ScD/PharmD; minimum of 5 years of experience with MS/MPH in HEOR or relevant related fields (health economics, epidemiology, health services research, or other research-focused public health field), sufficient to have developed a solid understanding of outcomes research and independently conducting HEOR studies including economic evaluations and real-world studies.
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental health services research methods and tools, including health economic modeling, patient-reported outcomes, statistics, and real-world evidence studies including technical and methodological aspects of registries and observational study design, implementation, analysis and interpretation.
- Capable of independently managing day to day aspects of a portfolio of projects related to the above.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required: ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external customers.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills required.
- Eagerness to learn and grow by taking guidance from supervisor/mentor/colleagues with respect.
- Ability to assess anticipated value for projects/programs to ensure alignment to business priorities and prioritize accordingly.
- Strong project management abilities (contracting, budgeting, vendor management) essential. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (multitask) involving complex processes, significant budget, competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities.
- Ability to influence key members of medical, clinical, and commercial teams constructively and without conflict
- Skilled in functioning within a matrix organization where managing through influence is required
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to anticipate needs and to work proactively to prioritize & address/resolve
- Change oriented, comfortable responding to unexpected demands with tight timelines; team player
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Experience with HTA organizations or Pathways such as NICE, CADTH, PBAC, ICER and other HTA groups.
