Position Overview: We're seeking a Senior IAM Manager to own identity and access management across the full breadth of HealthEdge's business — corporate identities, non-human identities, infrastructure-as-code-driven provisioning, and customer identity and access management (CIAM) — with ownership of multiple IDP instances across the organization. This is a leadership role with 5–7 direct reports within a broader IAM organization of 10–15, and the successful candidate will step in immediately to lead, support, or stand up several high-priority initiatives already underway for a global team including resources based offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to develop and communicate a strategic vision for our IAM program. Alignment of security initiatives with business goals is a critical key to our success.
  • Own the strategy and day-to-day operations of IAM across the organization. This includes zero trust architecture, privileged access management (PAM), identity governance, SSO/MFA, and role-based access controls across our enterprise and cloud environments for a global team, including resources based offshore.
  • Establish strategy while also performing hands-on design of our Identity and Access Management program. This includes zero trust architecture, privileged access management (PAM), identity governance, SSO/MFA, and role-based access controls across our enterprise and cloud environments.
  • Own and govern multiple Identity Provider (IDP) instances (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity), including integration, consolidation, and lifecycle management
  • Direct the use of Infrastructure as Code implementation and administration of Just-In-Time (JIT) access management tools in a cloud environment, with a strong understanding of least-privilege access principles and standing-access risk reduction
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–7 direct reports within a broader IAM organization of 10–15
  • Partner with engineering, security architecture, compliance, and business stakeholders to align IAM strategy with organizational priorities
  • Own IAM-related audit and compliance evidence, ensuring HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements are continually met with no gaps
  • Report on IAM program health, risk, and progress to security leadership, GRC committees, and executive stakeholders

Immediate Priorities:

The following areas are top priority and the Senior IAM Manager will be expected to step in immediately to lead, support, or stand up:

  • Establish clear ownership of cloud identities and prioritize requests based on business priority including corporate identities, non-human identities (service accounts, workload identities, machine credentials), and customer identities (CIAM) for a global business including resources offshore
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IAM integration efforts as part of a merger of disparate systems
  • Automate manual business processes for user access reviews, onboarding, offboarding, and role transfers
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IAM aspects of the deployment of a new HRIS system
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are continually met with no gaps

What you bring:

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including 5+ years in a leadership role managing IAM programs, teams, or workstreams at enterprise scale.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building, scaling, and developing IAM teams with 5+ direct reports within a broader security organization.
  • Proven track record owning IAM strategy and operations end-to-end, including accountability for audit outcomes, regulatory posture, and program performance.
  • Deep expertise across the full identity lifecycle, including:
    • Workforce/corporate identity
    • Non-human and machine identity (service accounts, workload identities, secrets)
    • Cloud identities
    • Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
  • Experience owning, governing, and consolidating multiple Identity Provider (IDP) platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity), including migration and consolidation strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and leading cloud-based identity solutions, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, and standing-access-risk reduction approaches.
  • Direct experience leading IAM initiatives through mergers, acquisitions, or major organizational transformations, including identity reconciliation, platform consolidation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Demonstrated success automating identity processes, including provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, access reviews, role management, and lifecycle governance.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements in highly regulated environments, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2.
  • Experience partnering with HR, IT, Security, and business stakeholders on enterprise technology implementations (e.g., HRIS and related systems) from an identity and access perspective.
  • Executive-level communication skills with experience reporting IAM program health, risk, compliance status, and audit readiness to senior leadership and governance committees.
  • CISSP required; CISM, CISA, CCISO, or comparable certifications preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in healthcare or another highly regulated industry, with direct ownership of compliance evidence and audit support activities.

Preferred

  • Experience standing up an IAM function or IDP consolidation from a fragmented or M&A-driven starting state
  • Familiarity with zero trust architecture frameworks and their practical rollout in a hybrid enterprise/cloud environment
  • Prior experience managing globally distributed teams, including offshore resources
