What You Will Do to Change Lives 

The Senior Telephony Infrastructure Engineering Manager participates in the design, planning, implementation, and support of computing infrastructure technology solutions for the enterprise, consults with internal business partners and 3rd party providers on technology options and best practices, and oversees on-going performance management, capacity planning, and maintenance of the information systems infrastructure. The Senior Telephony & Infrastructure Engineering Manager is responsible for VoIP and PBX telephony solutions and services for the enterprise including contract management, 3rd party and vendor performance, cost management, and invoice management. This position has a dotted line accountability to the Director of Information Security with a responsibility to support and maintain cybersecurity standards and best practices for Telecare’s computing and telephony infrastructure.

This position manages all aspects of the network (including Firewall, LAN/WAN, SDWAN, and VPN), VoIP, server, storage, security, datacenter services, Citrix, VMware, and Azure Cloud computing services for Telecare with over 200 servers and more than 4000 clients. This includes creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on industry best practices, reviewing reports from other departments that use IT services to ensure that they are functioning properly, and managing a team of IT professionals who provide engineer, technical support and maintenance for the IT infrastructure.

The Senior Telephony & Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering IT projects that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Collaborates with other senior managers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that the IT infrastructure meets current and future computing and networking requirements for Telecare within a 3-year horizon. This position is also responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance, security, and availability of the IT infrastructure and planning for continuous improvement.

 

Shifts Available: 

Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday – Friday

Expected starting wage range is $154,164.25 - $190,462.15. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. 

 

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree
  • Five (5) years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge and skills in network administration, VoIP systems, Windows servers, Datacenter operations, Citrix environments, and Azure Cloud services
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Five (5) years or more of supervisory experience managing technical personnel including resource planning, hiring, administering performance plans, time management, and issue resolution
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
