The Senior Manager, Market Research is an integral member of the Go-To-Market team at Amplify, providing critical and actionable market research insights that shape product development, marketing, and sales strategy. This role ensures that Amplify’s offerings are fully aligned with customer needs and market demands by guiding cross-functional teams through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, collaborates effectively, communicates clearly, and prioritizes competing demands to meet organizational goals.

Reporting to the Director of Market Research, the Senior Manager, Market Research works closely with Product Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to execute a comprehensive market research roadmap.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a robust market research panel for in-house market research projects to inform product roadmap, messaging, sampling, and pricing.

  • Advise cross-functional teams on effective market research methods, employing both quantitative (e.g., surveys, conjoint analysis, MaxDiff) and qualitative approaches (e.g., win-loss analysis, focus groups, in-depth interviews) to test hypotheses about the market and our strategy.

  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to develop a comprehensive market research agenda that aligns with the business priorities.

  • Manage multiple market research projects simultaneously, design research protocols, and establish project goals and timelines,  ensuring that projects are consistently delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

  • Conduct large-scale surveys, interviews, and focus groups, analyze and visualize large-scale datasets, and deliver comprehensive research reports that provide actionable insights.

  • Present research insights to stakeholders in a concise, impactful manner to drive alignment and data-informed decision making.

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Product, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and Customer Success, to ensure broad alignment.

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with external market research vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery of high-quality data insights that address high-priority business questions. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, with demonstrated expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods

  • Extensive experience using survey platforms like Survey Monkey and Alida

  • Proficient with Google Suite (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Slides), Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, R)

  • Knowledge of the U.S. K-12 education landscape

  • Experience in coordinating and communicating between multiple stakeholders at varying organizational levels

  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in K-12 education market research

  • Proven experience in managing a market research panel or insight community

  • Familiarity with Amplify products and services

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for  innovation and adaptability

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $118,000 - $125,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
