Senior Marketing Manager – Government Solutions

Location: Remote (U.S.)

World Fuel is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead our government-focused fuel marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in expanding our presence across federal, defense, and government markets, driving demand and strengthening our position as a trusted energy solutions partner.

This is a highly visible role working closely with commercial leadership, focused on shaping how we go to market in a complex, bid-driven environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that support government fuel sales, influence procurement outcomes, and increase brand visibility across the public sector. You will work at the intersection of marketing, sales, and government contracting, ensuring messaging, campaigns, and materials resonate with procurement officers and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute marketing strategies across federal, defense, and government agency markets
  • Develop compelling bid-support content, proposals, case studies, and messaging aligned with government procurement processes
  • Build and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, web, social, and print channels
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to drive lead generation and improve bid success rates
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Represent World Kinect at industry events, trade shows, and government forums
  • Collaborate with global teams on events, memberships, and partnerships within government and energy associations
  • Manage external relationships, including PR agencies and industry organizations
  • Oversee marketing budgets related to government initiatives
Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience developing and executing B2G (business-to-government) marketing strategies
  • Experience supporting bid-driven or procurement-led sales environments
  • Strong ability to develop compelling messaging for proposals, campaigns, and government stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, sales, and leadership teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment

Preferred:

  • Experience within energy, fuel, commodities, or government contracting sectors
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce
  • MBA or equivalent experience
