As the Senior Manager, Operations Planning, you will:
Lead medium- and long-range planning to align market demand, operational constraints, and business priorities.
Own the SIOP process and partner across Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to align forecasts, capacity, service, revenue, and inventory goals.
Accountable for accurate and executable master production schedules by collaborating cross-functionally to balance labor, materials, equipment, and space constraints.
Develop and execute inventory strategies that support customer lead times while managing cost, risk, and working capital.
Improve planning processes through lean and continuous improvement methods that reduce waste, variability, and excess inventory.
Lead, coach, and develop the planning team while supporting strong cross-functional execution and clear leadership communication.
Maintain data quality in planning systems to support decision-making (ERP/ MRP, Forecasts, lead times, inventory levels).
Who you are and the experience you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
Experience leading planning in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within a make-to-order setting.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Expertise in SIOP, master production scheduling, inventory planning, and capacity planning.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate trade-offs clearly.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, forecasting tools, and planning data management.
Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and turn plans into on-time execution.
Continuous improvement mindset with experience applying lean principles to planning processes.
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP
Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems
Knowledge of Lean/JIT production
