Our employees are key ingredients to our success, and you will be responsible for HR support to a specific plant(s) on topics such as talent management, leadership development, early career programs, career pathing, mobility and strategic talent reviews. For people managers in specific plants, you will act as point of contact for specific HR topics. You are a trusted partner and will drive implementation of global strategies and initiatives across plants. You will be responsible for influencing business strategy for people-related issues.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • Partner and build relationships with key stakeholders, Plant Leadership team in the Bakery on strategic priorities, including talent management, pipeline management, leadership development, early career programs, career pathing, succession planning in order to fulfil business objectives.
  • Oversee Plant labor relations strategy including elements of communication and works council relations, compliance and investigations
  • Closely work with People Services Team, provide an update of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market. Support plant leadership with effective management of time and attendance systems and attendance policies.
  • Define, shapes and drives and enabling wining high performing organization culture that translates into higher employee engagement and better business performance. Coaches leaders in leveraging organizational values and purpose for competitive Plant advantage.
  • Leads workforce headcount planning insights and decisions, including capability mapping in line with Business/ Plant need.
  • Partner with leader and Talent Acquisition COE on external searching and on hire into roles to build deep skills/ knowledge in critical organizational capability in line with Plant strategic plan.
  • Unlocks business performance through effective coaching to the Plant leadership teams, inclusive of appropriate and effective employee goals setting & performance management.
  • Designs and enables effective organization structures, team effectiveness, ways of working and implementation of function people transformation roadmap, including planning for employee relations, legal and tax implication across geographies
  • Accountable for reviewing compensation programs and supporting compensation/ retention decisions
  • Responsible for the Plant Training and development plan, from skills assessment, training evaluation and qualification programs for hourly and salaried colleagues.
  • Future focused by thinking ahead and anticipating new opportunities, leverages an outside in perspective through understanding market trends, commercial/supply chain impact of people decisions in order to fulfill business needs
  • Lead people process'/impact of any plant transformation with effective change management plan
  • Leverage data analytics including performance analysis through metrics and benchmarking to drive solutions that translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line results.

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
  • Bachelors Degree in a related major is preferred
  • 5+ years of plant experience
  • Experience with Labor Union Management as well as Talent and Engagement Management
  • Broad generalist HR experience across a range of populations and range of seniority
  • Strong experience of working with trade unions to deliver change
  • Proven track record as a trusted, credible business partner with ability to engage, influence and resilient people
  • Experience working with Lean Six Sigma to drive high performance
  • HR leader with an active curiosity, insight orientation and external perspective about people and business performance
  • Interpersonal savvy, planning, and dealing with ambiguity
  • Future focused by thinking ahead and anticipating new opportunities, leverages an outside in perspective through understanding of market trends

The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
