JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Revenue Analytics team within the Revenue Operations organization. This role is pivotal in maturing our revenue analytics function, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will leverage tools such as Domo, Power BI, and Tableau to manage a team of analysts responsible for dataset creation, validation, reporting, and analytics. This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to serve up standard operational analytics while delivering forward-thinking insights to shape business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts specializing in revenue analytics and business intelligence

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks and validation processes to ensure >95% data accuracy and consistent delivery of actionable insights

  • Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes growth, innovation, and professional development

Analytics & Insights

  • Oversee the development, validation, and optimization of data models and datasets to support operational reporting and advanced analytics

  • Design and deliver user-centric dashboards and reports using tools like Domo, Power BI, Tableau and Looker, enabling stakeholders to leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making

  • Translate complex data into meaningful, actionable insights that drive business performance and align with organizational goals

  • Collaborate with data engineering to develop and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt, ensuring accurate data representation, proper version control, and alignment with business requirements.

Optimization & Strategy

  • Advance the maturity of the revenue analytics function by implementing scalable, efficient frameworks and innovative methodologies

  • Align revenue analytics initiatives with Avid’s strategic objectives, including refining pipeline forecasting models, driving ARR growth, and enhancing customer retention metrics

  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes and enhance operational effectiveness

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver operational analytics that uncover growth opportunities and drive strategic decision-making

  • Ensure forecast accuracy and accountability by aligning forecasts with actual performance

  • Create and implement frameworks to measure and enhance sales team efficiency, pricing strategies, and customer retention trends, driving measurable business impact Innovation & Reporting

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in reporting processes through automation and efficiency enhancements

  • Spearhead the transition to advanced analytics platforms like Power BI and Tableau, enabling robust, scalable data exploration and reporting

  • Deliver strategic insights to leadership on bookings, pipeline performance, retention trends, and customer lifetime value, ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Proactively identify and address emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in revenue data to optimize performance

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • A minimum of 8 years analytics experience or a similar type role, with 2+ years in a leadership position preferred

  • Experience with business intelligence reporting tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, and Looker

  • Expert-level SQL proficiency with the ability to design and build complex queries (CTEs, window functions, subqueries), ensure analytical correctness, and coach others on understanding both the data and the business it represents

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities, with the capacity to navigate through ambiguous requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and executing an effective KPI strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Impressive expertise in creating managerial-level presentations and reports, effectively communicating insights

  • Ability to perform complex quantitative analysis and translate results into meaningful business insights

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with Business, Analytics, and IT organizations

  • Solid understanding of data modeling methodologies, techniques, and best practices

  • Familiarity with data warehouse methodologies, with preferred experience in Snowflake EDW and leveraging dbt for data modeling and transformation

  • Strong knowledge and experience in building and working with relational databases

Pay Range $139,643 - $209,464 USD

The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting. The company may update or modify this range at any time and endeavors to keep this posting current. Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.

US Pay Transparency Range $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
