The Senior Manager of Sponsored Events will own and scale the conferences and sponsored events channel, already our most effective driver of pipeline and thought leadership. This role will cultivate deep relationships with conference organizers, negotiate the highest-impact sponsorship opportunities, and identify content and speaking opportunities that position Eve as a category leader.
This hands-on leadership role blends strategic oversight, creative vision, and execution, ensuring every sponsorship delivers measurable demand generation and strengthens Eve’s presence in key markets.
What You'll Accomplish
- Own the end-to-end strategy, budgeting, and execution of Eve’s sponsored events program, across third-party conferences, summits, and in-market networking events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with conference organizers, state and local bar associations, and partners to maximize sponsorship value and uncover new pipeline opportunities.
- Maximize event speaking opportunities. For events that include speaker slots, secure the best stages, coordinate with the Office of the CEO for executive presenters, promote sessions ahead of time, a
- Collaborate with Content, Brand, Product, and Design teams to develop high-quality, compelling assets and messaging that elevate Eve’s presence at sponsored events.
- Conduct competitive event analysis to understand where competitors show up, why, and how Eve can differentiate its presence to capture attention and influence buying decisions.
- Define success metrics, monitor performance, and continuously optimize event investments and program priorities based on data and market insights.
- Establish end-to-end processes for campaign planning, execution, lead handoff, and ROI reporting, ensuring sponsorships contribute directly to pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with the regional field marketing team to maximize impressions and brand awareness at conferences through ancillary hosted events, dinners, and networking activations outside of the exhibitor hall.
- Act as a player-coach, traveling to work the exhibit hall at high-impact conferences while mentoring the team and scaling best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, and/or demand generation with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You have proven experience managing a team of high-performing direct reports and aligning cross-functional stakeholders around shared revenue objectives.
- Experience building relationships with event organizers, negotiating sponsorships, and driving content opportunities that establish thought leadership.
- Skilled at assessing the performance of sponsored event programs and using pipeline, ROI, and MQL data to drive team priorities, optimize outcomes, and inform decisions.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple programs simultaneously while meeting deadlines, budgets, and brand standards.
- An obsession with curating the highest-quality experiences, evidenced by a high bar for taste and ability to think outside the box of basic “networking happy hours.”
- Travel: Be present where it matters. Ability and willingness to travel 30-40% to key sponsored events and conferences across AMER.
