The Senior Manager of Sales and Success Strategic Programs plays a crucial role in spearheading transformational sales initiatives by guiding and mentoring a team of program managers.   • Strategic Leadership & Advisory:
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, offering insights and recommendations to shape the long-term vision and drive growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Atlassian to build strong stakeholder relationships, identifying and prioritizing initiatives that enhance market competitiveness and improve efficiencies within the sales and success strategic portfolio.
  • Driving Innovation and Change:
    • Promote a culture of innovation by questioning existing processes and advocating for bold, high-impact decisions.
    • Actively identify areas for improvement through data analysis and stakeholder feedback, driving transformative changes across the organization.
  • Driving Scale & Operational Excellence:
    • Develop a portfolio of programs that implement data-driven strategies to optimize processes, create scalable frameworks, and establish clear, measurable goals for organizational growth.
    • Implement scalable reporting methods across your team's program portfolio and establish operational frameworks to ensure agile decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Coaching & Directing Program Managers:
    • Lead a dedicated team of program managers by providing coaching, mentorship, and clear direction to ensure the successful execution of strategic data-driven programs.
    • Utilize insights from the team to inform strategic decision-making and drive transformative changes.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales strategy, program management, or a related strategic leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving scalable initiatives and managing complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and leading high-performing teams, particularly program managers, with a focus on governance and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge existing paradigms.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive portfolios of strategic programs, emphasizing collaborative leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $166,500 - $217,375
Zone B: $150,300 - $196,225
Zone C: $138,600 - $180,950
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
