Job Description

Cricut is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing journeys that inspire machine owners to return to Design Space, start projects, and build lasting creative habits.

You will own lifecycle marketing for Cricut cutting machines, including Maker, Explore, and Joy, using Braze-powered channels such as email, push, SMS, in-app messaging, and paid social. Your work will drive onboarding, engagement, and reactivation, across key user cohorts: new owners, active users, lapsed users, and global audiences.

This role is for a strategic, creative, data-driven marketer who can quickly become fluent in Cricut machines, Design Space, user behavior, and the moments that turn “I should make something” into “I made that.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle marketing roadmap for Cricut cutting machines to increase Design Space visits and cut activity.
  • Build and optimize Braze journeys for onboarding, inspiration, education, and reactivation.
  • Become an expert in Cricut machines, Design Space, materials, project types, and user workflows.
  • Use email, push, SMS, paid social, in-app messaging, banners, and pop-ups to drive engagement and cut conversion.
  • Partner across creative, product, engineering, international, data, research, and digital marketing to execute campaigns.
  • Work with data teams to define segments, triggers, tests, dashboards, and performance readouts.
  • Tie marketing performance to first 7-day cuts, cuts per user, active cutters, international engagement, and campaign metrics.
  • Document roadmaps, calendars, briefs, tests, learnings, and updates to keep teams aligned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in lifecycle, CRM, retention, engagement, product, or growth marketing.
  • Experience with consumer apps, connected hardware, creative platforms, subscriptions, or DTC.
  • Hands-on experience building multi-channel owned and paid campaigns.
  • Experience with Braze or a similar engagement platform.
  • Track record improving activation, engagement, retention, usage, or LTV.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action.
  • Experience with segmentation, personalization, triggers, automation, testing, and measurement.
  • Strong product sense across hardware, software, content, and marketing.
  • Clear communicator with strong documentation and proactive updates.
  • Creative, organized, resourceful, and user-first.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
