Position Summary


The Senior Marketing Manager, NIPT will develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive adoption of and promote Natera’s genetic tests, UX offerings, and patient education tools to OBGYN, MFM, and GC providers and their patients. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing marketing team and create multi-channel campaigns for market-leading products that impact healthcare for millions of patients. This role reports to the Director, NIPT and Hereditary Cancer Marketing.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Market Awareness and Adoption:

    • Create and execute marketing plans to increase awareness and ensure the promotion of key Panorama NIPT and Vistara Single-Gene NIPT messages through appropriate marketing and sales channels.

    • Develop and implement HCP and patient marketing campaigns, content, and engagement tactics to communicate the value and drive adoption of Panorama, Vistara, and associated support services. 

    • Present marketing campaigns, progress, and performance to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and inform campaign optimization

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner cross-functionally with Product, UX, Patient Experience, Sales, Medical, and Leadership teams to understand customer needs and inform offerings.

    • Develop and support the execution of commercial launch plans for new product features and services.

  • Market and Business Analysis:

  • Conduct market research on customer drivers, competitive landscape, and effectiveness of messaging to refine marketing strategy.

  • Identify and size business opportunities by creating business cases and financial models.

  • Project and Financial Management:

    • Effectively manage marketing projects, timelines, vendors and budget.

    • Track and improve ROI for marketing programs.


Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree required; MBA/Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, which includes healthcare product marketing, product management, sales, medical affairs or strategic consulting experience.

  • Experience in life sciences, health technology, or diagnostics preferred.

  • Formal educational background or clinical experience in genetic counseling or medical genetics preferred.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High integrity.

  • Project management including organization, attention to detail, and timeline tracking.

  • Experience marketing products and services to healthcare providers including synthesizing clinical information and composing concise promotional copy.

  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Basic financial and economic modeling skills. Analytical, problem-solving mindset required.

  • Familiarity with, interest in digital marketing channels and tactics preferred.


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Duties typically performed in an office setting. This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.

  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
