The Senior Marketing Execution Specialist will be responsible for managing enterprise communications, including email and SMS journey development, troubleshooting, QA, and optimization. Currently transitioning from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Adobe Journey Optimizer, this position requires strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) at a senior level.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations and Servicing stakeholders to create execution plans for transactional campaigns to customers

  •  Build email and SMS campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

  •  Troubleshoot existing SFMC and AJO email and SMS Journeys

  •  Monitor SFMC API integrations to ensure internal and external systems support accurate journey execution.

  •  Monitor critical, regulatory messages to ensure delivery.

  •  Oversee reporting on email campaigns and journeys, including summary-level reporting and user level reporting as needed.

  •  Collaborate with operations to enhance customer communications through ongoing improvements.

  • You’ll work within our Marketing Execution team, collaborating with our In-House-Agency (IHA), Project Managers, Marketing Partners, IT, and Compliance, and Ancillary partners

  • Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.

  • Maintain organization by following a defined process, including maintaining folder structures, naming conventions, and data files. Project Management & Flexibility &

  •  Understand and manage project requests from various departments, including product marketing, servicing, operations, Freedom Mortgage partners, and internal communications.

  • Quickly pivot between different email types and campaign needs, utilizing existing templates and adapting based on the specific requirements of each project.

  • Maintain effective communication and transparency with teams regarding timelines, expectations, and challenges.

  •  Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices, applying learnings to improve Marketing strategy and tactics.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to make minor code adjustments on email to work on all clients

  •  Deep understanding of email best practices

  •  Understands basic marketing principles as it relates to tracking KPIs

  •  Excel and mathematical skills required; must be able to create basic custom reports, pivot tables and provide insights /trends into campaign performance

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a Four (4) year College or University and 3-4 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Previous enterprise-level expertise with exact target / email studio

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  •  Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification

  •  Prior Adobe AJO experience preferred

Problems require understanding of other job areas.  Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue.
