Position Overview:
The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the overall campaign process from planning through execution. This role coordinates with subject matter experts to gather essential information, establishes campaign milestones and timelines, and oversees the project plan to ensure all tasks are completed by the appropriate team members. The Senior Marketing Specialist ensures that campaign tactics are strategically planned and executed on schedule to achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Campaign Management
- Manage the end-to-end campaign process, ensuring all planning and implementation tasks are assigned and completed by the appropriate team members
- Coordinate with campaign subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather essential information for campaign planning and execution
- Establish campaign milestones and timelines, maintaining a detailed project plan to track progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Oversee the strategic planning and scheduling of campaign tactics across multiple channels (digital, print, social, email, etc.) to align with company goals and product launches
- Ensure all campaign assets and deliverables are developed in accordance with brand standards and campaign objectives
- Event Management
- Execute facilitation on all tasks leading up to, during, and following in-person and virtual events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, webinars, and internal meetings
- Manage all event logistics, such as pre-planning to attend the event, event coordination to promote the event, post-coordination to complete post post-event and follow-up process
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and detailed project plans
- Create event promotion plan, manage attendee communications, and post-event communication and follow-up process
- Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze campaign and event performance, using data-driven insights to optimize tactics and improve results
- Prepare and present regular reports on results and key learnings to stakeholders and leadership
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, creative, PR, analytics) to ensure alignment and maximize impact
- Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, venues, and agencies
- May lead and mentor junior team members; provide project leadership as needed
- Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all campaigns and events reflect the company’s brand, values, and messaging standards
- Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining and evolving brand standards in all marketing activities
- Flexible Support
- Managing or supporting social media campaigns and content calendars
- Assisting with marketing strategy development and planning
- Supporting podcast production, promotion, and guest coordination
- Contributing to special projects or new marketing channels as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing campaigns and/or event management roles
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to execution and analysis
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and managing vendors/partners
- Proficiency with marketing and analytics technology platforms
- Ability to adapt quickly to new priorities and areas of focus
- Experience with social media, podcasting, or marketing strategy is a plus
