Our technology impacts the visual experience in video game development, film production, space exploration, medicine, computational finance and automotive design. And we've only scratched the surface of what we can accomplish when we apply our technology to it. We need passionate, hard-‐working and creative people to help us seek some of these outstanding opportunities. NVIDIA is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to lead and scale with our Technical Project Management, Network Engineering and Software Development teams. Our customer base consists of hundreds of deeply intelligent engineers who continually provide us with complex problems to be solved. The highly qualified Network Deployment Engineer will provide the architectural alignment, resource coordination and portfolio management enabling our end-to-end automation solutions to operate seamlessly. This operation is a key foundation upon which our creative products and services are delivered to support DGX Cloud. You should enjoy working in an energizing environment where speed and flexibility is key to your success. Having depth and breadth knowledge of supporting the teams that operate large-scale distributed Cloud Computing environments is a strength you'll need.

You should also have an engineering mentality with deep knowledge and experience in the following core areas: Project Alignment across all DGXC & NGC engineering programs, Process Alignment to increase productivity and improve workflow, and continuous Gap Analysis on automation deliverables. You will be passionate about providing outstanding products and thrive in a highly matrixed environment. You will embrace change and enjoy solving challenges.

What you'll be doing:

  • Apply your engineering mentality to guide developers across multiple geographies to remove roadblocks, prioritize deliverables, and deliver projects/products on time.

  • Review automation designs (and highlight recommendations/risks) to ensure functionality will align with business requirements to address opportunities as efficiently as possible.

  • Work with Cloud Foundation Automation (CFA) and associated teams to right size resources to deliver features that need to be released per the overall product roadmap.

  • Give input on software architectures and standard methodology processes as it relates to design and implementation of new automation.

  • Drive data-driven strategies across engineering to ensure alignment cross-functionally. Provide user input on software/automation design changes and ensure they align with current and future products.

  • Identify problems, drive cross-functional solutions, and sustain relationships with related technical teams. Build relationships with partners, vendors and collaborate to improve engineering processes.

  • Apply process control to continuously improve the engineering delivery and contribute to the overall improvement and operation of the products in scope.

  • Develop and support frameworks for definition and alignment of products across the engineering organization.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in network engineering, computer science or software engineering.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Detail oriented with an attested ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements

  • Hands on experience in a software development environment. Ability to create scalable design footprints as it relates to process automation. Strength working independently and actively with minimal direction

  • Work with resources across multiple time zones. Excellent communication and technical presentation skills

  • Able to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful

  • Proven ability to think in an unexpected way to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts

  • Proven track record to address complex problems through user/system friendly products

  • Experience with productivity tools and process automation. Familiar with AGILE software development processes

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • PM Certification/training a strong plus

  • 6+ years programming of a modern programming language desired

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
