The Senior Cisco ISE Engineer leads projects, manages budgets, develops technical expertise, and provides client presentations while ensuring high-level network engineering capabilities.
Job Description
The Senior Cisco ISE Engineer functions as a Subject Matter Expert within the Consulting Services division of BlueAlly. The Senior Engineer must be able to lead small to enterprise initiatives, work independently, and develop an in-depth technical and business understanding of the working environment for Clients across numerous industries and/or verticals.
Onsite attendance is required during the first week. Thereafter, candidates should be willing to attend onsite quarterly (one day per quarter or consolidated multi-day visits).
Responsibilities
- Applies broad technical expertise to address business challenges
- Leads a multi-disciplinary teams focused on a complex project
- Develops and delivers briefings and presentations for clients
- Produces relevant documentation
- Manages project budgets and schedules
- Develops and presents relevant reports
Knowledge & Experience
- Functions as a Subject Matter Expert
- Ability to act independently
- Leads small to mid-size initiatives
- In depth technical and business understanding of the working environment
- Expert knowledge of all aspects in one or more of the following:
- Network Engineering
- Security
- Data Center
- Network Design/Configuration
- Unified Communications and Collaboration
- Virtualization
Mandatory Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card Holder Status) due to federal regulations and contractual requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in Cisco Data Center and Enterprise Routing and Switching
- CCIE Certification - need to be at this level, will also consider candidates with a completed written exam
- Ability to obtain and maintain client suitability and undergo a background and drug test to include marijuana
Nice to Have Requirements:
- Experience with Cisco DNA-Center
- Prior Consulting Experience
