 Our core corporate finance functions are critical to Lyft’s success.  The health and sustainability of our applications, systems, tooling and processes are critical for daily operations and for Lyft’s ability to grow.  The Senior Oracle EPM Engineer possesses both business and technical acumen. This engineering role provides support for Lyft’s Corporate consolidations systems, managing their daily performance and incidents, implementing effective monitoring and alerting tools, creating automated workflows, building customer solutions, configuring applications, providing end user training and protecting all system related information assets. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in FCCS, ARCCS, EBPCS, and EDMCS to drive innovation across our financial consolidation, reporting, reconciliation, and planning processes. Working at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to architect solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while positioning our organization for continued growth and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Expertise
  • Provide authoritative technical leadership on Oracle EPM Cloud applications, developing strategic roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices
  • Serve as the principal subject matter expert for FCCS and ARCCS configurations, setting technical standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead complex EPM implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while exceeding stakeholder expectations
Advanced System Configuration & Development
  • Design and implement sophisticated FCCS consolidation models, including multi-currency translations, complex intercompany eliminations, and custom calculation rules that automate and streamline financial consolidation processes
  • Architect advanced ARCCS reconciliation frameworks with customized profiles, intelligent matching rules, and automated workflows that significantly reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  • Collaborate on EBPCS planning model development, creating dynamic forms, calculation scripts, and reporting solutions that enhance forecasting and budgeting capabilities
  • Implement robust EDMCS governance frameworks that ensure data consistency and dimensional integrity across the EPM ecosystem
Integration & Performance Optimization
  • Design seamless data integration architectures between EPM modules and enterprise systems, ensuring reliable, automated data flows that maintain data integrity
  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, implementing innovative solutions that enhance scalability and processing efficiency
  • Lead technical issue resolution across the EPM landscape, applying advanced troubleshooting methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
Stakeholder Partnership & Knowledge Leadership
  • Partner closely with Finance and Accounting leadership to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions that drive measurable improvements
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer protocols that enhance organizational understanding and adoption of EPM solutions
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, fostering skill development and building bench strength within the EPM practice
Experience:Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience with Oracle EPM applications, demonstrating depth in FCCS and ARCCS implementation and administration
  • Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-scale consolidation models, reconciliation frameworks, and data integration solutions
  • Strong understanding of EBPCS architecture and EDMCS governance principles with practical implementation experience
  • Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles related to consolidation, close processes, and financial planning
  • Experience with SQL, Groovy scripting, or equivalent technical languages for custom solution development

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to architect complex solutions for enterprise-level challenges
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences including executive leadership
  • Strong project management discipline with track record of successful, on-time deliveries in complex, matrix environments
  • Ability to anticipate future business needs and proactively design scalable solutions that accommodate organizational growth
Preferred Attributes
  • Oracle EPM Cloud certifications
  • Experience with Oracle applications (ERP Cloud, BI, Data Management)
  • Background in multinational, multi-currency financial environments
  • Experience in regulated industries with complex compliance requirements

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $126,000 - $158,700. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
