We’re Personified: a managed IT + cybersecurity services provider for campaigns, non-profits, and mission-aligned organizations. Our mission is to lead technology and security programs for our clients, enabling them to focus on their mission-critical work.

We act as an extension of our client teams — we handle all the responsibilities a traditional internal IT team would. We’re in our clients’ Slacks, we’re on a first-name basis with them (and their pets), we’re new hires’ first point of contact, and we’re the first stop for tech and cybersecurity issues. We aim to build trust, and we leverage this to keep the bad actors out.

Some of the biggest names in the progressive space have leaned on us as their trusted IT + cybersecurity partner. We are looking for top IT talent as we continue to scale our team.

About the Role

The Senior Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Personified's growth by actively identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic alliances with key technology providers, industry associations, and other relevant organizations. This individual will bridge strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring the successful execution of joint initiatives that expand market reach, drive revenue, and enhance our value proposition.

Over time, this role is expected to take on increased responsibility, including the potential to supervise a Partnerships Associate as the team grows. We’re seeking candidates who bring strong management skills or demonstrated potential to lead and support others effectively.

This position reports to the VP of Partnerships.

  • Actively contribute to and execute the overall partnership strategy, identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities through in-depth market research.

  • Independently manage the full lifecycle of assigned partnerships, from initial prospect calls to the proposal and pitch process through contracting.
  • Help develop and draft memos, proposals, pitch decks, and related collateral in collaboration with Partnership team, delivering first-rate materials that target an audience of C-Suite executives
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations, acting as their primary contact.
  • Lead negotiations for standard partnership agreements, securing mutually beneficial terms with Director oversight for complex deals.
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on partnership KPIs, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending optimizations.
  • Own and maintain accurate partnership information within the CRM, including deal stages, communications, and renewal tracking.
  • Actively participate in industry events and networking functions to build brand awareness and expand the partnership pipeline.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to internal workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture, with the potential to take on staff management responsibilities as the Partnerships team grows.

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales, preferably within the technology industry.

  • Solid understanding of the technology landscape, particularly in areas like IT, cybersecurity, or cloud computing.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
