* We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Portfolio Analyst to join our Credit team, which sits on the broader Enterprise Business Operations (EBO) team. As a Sr. Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Credit process as an individual contributor and subject matter expert in credit limit management, interpreting customer credit information and financial statements.
* What you'll do
* As a vital part of the EBO team, the Sr. Portfolio Analyst will play an important role in ensuring all aspects of the Credit Process are adhered to, as applicable.
* Work closely with CDW sales and customers to provide credit support for the sale and placement of product and services while protecting the enterprise from undue credit risk.
* Maintain and manage credit limits for assigned portfolio of customers, including establishing relationships with customers' senior finance coworkers, as appropriate.
* Conduct analysis of customer financial and credit data for large/complex transactions to provide clear recommendations for credit decisions.
* Ensure credit limits are kept current and orders released in a timely manner
* Release orders from assigned portfolio as necessary
* Establish and maintain strong relationships and rapport across Sales through transparent communication and consistent engagement.
* Be a thought leader for innovation and change within the Credit department, challenging the status quo, supporting the development, deployment and adoption of new credit strategies, technologies and tools.
* Monitor customer credit risk, identifying and resolving and potential credit risk issues in partnership with sales and customers.
* Monitor economic trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential risks.
* Provide periodic operational reporting, KPI performance, and analysis of operations.
* Provide recommendations for managing overall portfolio risk.
* Provide coaching and support training for credit analysts with less experience
* Participate in any workout situations with the intent of mitigating our risk while keeping the customer relationship
* What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in corporate credit related positions OR 9+ years of relevant corporate Credit experience
* Demonstrated experience in evaluating and approving credit limits of $1 million or more, including reviewing and interpreting customer financial statements, ensuring sound financial judgment and risk assessment in high-value transactions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact and build partnerships with stakeholders and customers at all levels.
* Consistent decision making with a balance between data and qualitative factors
* Deal/resolution oriented; Forward leaning
* Demonstrated understanding of macroeconomic and industry factors and how they impact credit risk.
* Curiosity and a desire to learn and apply what was learned
* Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically, solve problems, and drive change.
