The Senior Pricing Analyst is a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group, supporting the Product, Sales, and Finance teams through market and pricing analysis and strategic financial decision-making support. In addition to guiding the global pricing process and influencing strategy, this role actively manages pricing requests from across the organization. The Senior Pricing Analyst will take the lead in creating reporting that outlines pricing financial impacts and key trends, and is a key player in commercial budgeting and forecasting activities. This position requires skill in critical thinking, data analysis, financial modeling, and communication.
Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with Product, Sales, and Finance teams, help influence and guide global pricing policy and strategy
  • Develop and provide ongoing support for Product team pricing models, leveraging business guardrails to achieve desired outcomes, and equip Sales and Product with pricing tools and guidance throughout the selling cycle
  • Perform product portfolio analysis on a regular cadence to drive actionable insights regarding product and customer profitability, and evaluate margin improvement opportunities
  • Perform market analyses using internal and customer/industry data to analyze growth and pricing trends by customer, product, market segment, competitive pricing, and customer willingness to pay to inform pricing decisions
  • Identify trends and provide meaningful insights to Product, Sales, and Finance teams to drive pricing, promotional opportunities, and better forecast accuracy
  • Act as a key contributor in budget and forecast activities, responsible for forecasting and explaining pricing impacts each year, and ensure alignment with revenue and profitability targets
  • Establish pricing governance processes, approval workflows, and guardrails to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Establish processes for annual price reviews and mid-year pricing actions, including list price adjustments and discounting
  • Support benchmarking of pricing levels and margins across product families (good/better/best), manufacturing locations, and broader organizational guardrails
  • Perform detailed margin and cost analyses, including cost-plus modeling, value-based pricing, and scenario modeling
  • Understand customer pricing agreements, including header discounts, product-specific and volume-based rebates, and other price concessions; support Sales and Sales Operations in customer pricing management
  • Improve pricing data quality, visibility, and reporting across the organization, including developing KPIs and pricing insights to support leadership decision-making
  • Seek opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve and optimize pricing processes

Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing and product costing, data analytics and reporting, strategic pricing analysis, market and POS data analysis, or commercial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners
  • Dynamic, self-starter who can work independently
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • The salary range is $95,000 USD up to $130,000 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
