Build positioning, messaging, personas, value propositions, proof points, sales enablement, competitive materials, case studies, release communications, lifecycle campaigns, and web content. Translate product and technical developments into customer value for complex, multi-stakeholder B2B buyers. Use AI tools to scale output, define marketing roadmaps, support launches, and measurably influence revenue.

Golden is an award winning all-in-one volunteer management platform that helps nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and schools mobilize their communities . Golden was named #1 in Social Good on Fast Company's 2026 World's Most Innovative Companies list and recognized on Fortune's 2025 Change the World list.

The problem you'd solve: Golden ships value faster than it can explain it. You'd own that translation, turning product and technical work into value that decision-makers across complex industries can see.

The role: As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll build and maintain the positioning and messaging system that everything downstream runs on: pillars, personas, value propositions, proof points, and voice. Sales, client strategy, customer success, and AI all execute against the framework you create. Every time Golden ships, you turn it into release notes, the newsletter, documentation, decks, one-pagers, case studies, and web copy. You'll own sales enablement (battle cards, competitive briefs, case studies, decks) and lifecycle communications (onboarding sequences, adoption campaigns, lifecycle automation), with strategy and execution both in your hands.

Why it's a builder seat: This is a team-of-one senior IC role with no reports yet. You define the strategy, build the roadmap, and execute it, using AI tools to produce the output of a team two to three times the headcount. The programs you build earn the investment in additional resources.

What we're looking for: A track record in B2B SaaS product marketing where positioning, messaging, and ICP clarity measurably moved revenue. Experience marketing to complex, multi-stakeholder buyers. Nonprofit or government buyers are preferred, but if you bring that craft from education, healthcare, or corporate enterprise and are new to the vertical, that works too. You use AI tools consistently to produce real output at scale, not just to experiment. You move between framework design and hands-on execution without waiting for a team to form around you, and you have the technical fluency to learn the platform and work in it directly. The process includes a product teardown and a changelog-to-release-note work sample.

What we offer: Fully remote, full-time, open to candidates based in the United States. Compensation is flexible and calibrated to the right person. Most of all, you get the chance to define how an award-recognized social impact platform tells its story.

If you want to own the whole positioning system and see it carry through every launch, deck, and customer message, let's talk.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
